Our Team

John has been with the organization for approximately 25 years and is responsible for the overall business operation and management of the company. John's Civil Engineering degree and experience working within larger organizations prior to AEC allows him to provide the necessary management to operate a successful company. John has also earned both Master and Journeyman Electrician licensing status and is constantly pursuing new areas of electrical services, namely renewables.

Michael has been with Advance Electrical Corp. since 1979.  His extensive knowledge of the electrical industry has allowed AEC as a company to be recognized as one of the leaders in electrical system design, installation and maintenance. Mike's numerous years of experience provided the necessary backbone to maintain an effective field operation and served as the foundation of the "Advance Electrical Culture" affording delivery of the quality product our customers have come to expect.

Robert joined Advance Electrical Corp. as an apprentice in 2004 and has successfully grown within the company progressing from an entry-level apprentice to project manager and licensed master electrician.  In this capacity, Bob has demonstrated experience completing a wide range of construction and renovation projects including design/build, large commercial and industrial buildings, generator installations, and most recently, utility scale renewable energy systems.  With proven ability to foster and build working relationships with engineers, contractors, ownership and field personnel, Bob continues to prove himself to be a valuable asset to our organization.

David joined Advance Electrical Corp. as an apprentice in 1999. Having grown within the company from apprenticeship to journeyman electrician and Safety Officer, David has demonstrated competent abilities with project management in the areas of design/build, creative customer service and leadership to his teams in the field. David exemplifies the Advance Electrical culture and philosophy that promoting from within results in a dedicated, productive and successful work force.  As the first electrician to join the office team as a project manager and transitioning seamlessly into this role, he has surpassed all expectations. As new electricians are brought in from the field, David has been instrumental in training and coaching. He freely shares his methods of estimating, attention to detail and due diligence with new office team members allowing our philosophy of promoting from within to enjoy continued success.

Ron came to Advance Electrical Corp. as a project manager with almost 40 years of experience in areas of construction, estimating, facilities management and operations.  Ron quickly adapted to the pace and now manages large, utility scale solar generating facilities.  His management skills and construction insights allow for consistent project results, always completed in a timely fashion as well as under budget.  Ron has become a key person in the organization and a welcome addition to our team.

Jim Peterson, Finance Manager, came to Advance Electrical Corp. with over 17 years of experience in the managerial accounting field, with emphasis in the area of construction and facilities maintenance.  Coupled with his background in human resources, Jim does double duty as the company’s benefits manager.  Jim provides valuable insight in budget forecasting, financial reporting, risk management, and also provides major contributions to the long-term financial goals of the company and future growth potential.

Nick joined Advance Electrical Corp. as an apprentice in 2007 and steadily moved through the ranks, progressing from entry level apprentice to master electrician.  Nick recently transitioned from Field Superintendent to Operations Manager, a position that suits him well.  With his ability to provide support and leadership to field personnel, we continue to improve performance and maintain our high workmanship standards.  Nick represents another outstanding long term team member that embraces our culture and core values.
